    Salt City Derby Girls vs. AZRD Salt City Derby Girls The Arizona Roller Roller Derby's travel team, The Tent City Terrors, brought the heat to Salt Lake. Dressed in their pink uniforms, there were times when they didn't look to be a match for the Salt City Shakers, but their powerful jamming proved them to be a worthy opponent.   • Salt City vs. FoCo & Cleavers vs. Bombers
    Our Salt City Shakers just wrapped up a double header bout against Ft. Collins' FoCo Girls Gone Derby, followed by a league match between The Leave it to Cleavers and Bomber Babes. Though the winners in both bouts were clearly obvious, it was an incredible display of athletics and sportsmanship between these teams. In the first bout, the Shakers were able to take a quick 27-4 lead with the incredible jamming by China White and NOS. After 15 minutes, Salt City had extended their lead 42-11.   • Salt City battles FoCo in a double header this weekend
    This Saturday, June 12, 2010, the Salt City Derby Girls will host their third double header bout of the 2010 season at the Salt Palace. The all-star team, Salt City Shakers will take on a traveling opponent in a WFTDA sanctioned match against FoCo Girls Gone Derby (Fort Collins, Colorado). The bout will begin at 6:00 pm, followed by a bout between Salt City Derby Girls home teams, the Bomber Babes vs. The Leave it To Cleavers.   • Extra bout added to the schedule
    There's been an additional bout added to the Salt City Derby Girls schedule. The Salt City Shakers are playing against Emerald City from Eugene Oregon this coming Saturday May 29th at Taylorsville Recreation Center: 4948 South 2700 West, Taylorsville, Utah. Tickets will be available at the rec center this Thursday from 8-10pm during their practice, or at the door the night of the event.     This weekend's Salt City Derby bout had all four home teams on the track and gave a preview of how this season could turn out. Sisters of No Mercy battled the 2008 & 2009 champions Leave it to Cleavers, and Death Dealers took on the Bomber Babes in the second bout.  In the first bout, Sisters of No Mercy wasted no time taking the lead, and maintained a narrow lead ending the half up 37-25.   • Salt City Shakers vs Lava City Smokin' Ashes
    It was a long and tough night at the Salt Palace this past Saturday. Our Salt City Roller Derby held a double-header bout, first match against the Lava City Smokin' Ashes, then a league match between Death Dealers and Sisters of No Mercy. Lava City struck first blood, taking a 5-point lead in their first jam, but Salt City struck right back, holding a slim lead through most of the first half. HISTORY OF SALT CITY DERBY GIRLS

Summer 2005 - Iron rack returns from Kansas City, and tells Bruja about roller derby.

Fall 2005 – Bruja takes on the task of starting a roller derby league, and creates Salt City Derby Girls, LLC. Aug 2005 is the official birth date.

January 2006 - Bruja meets with Smother of Pearl, and her group of girls. They join forces to take SCDG to the next level.

February 2006 - SCDG makes their whereabouts known by attending Dust Devil in Tucson, AZ. (as spectators)

May 2006 - SCDG puts on their very first expo bout, available to friends, family and media only at Hollywood Connection. Cops VS Robbers were the demo teams.

July 2006 – After the success of their expo bout, SCDG puts on their first public bout. 500 tickets sell out in 4 days. This time the demo teams were Punks VS Preps.

August 2006 – SCDG celebrates their first birthday. And breaks into their 4 official home teams. The Death Dealers, The Leave It To Cleavers, The Sisters Of No Mercy, and The Bomber Babes.

September 2006 – By this time the Olympic Oval has made a proposal to host our games there, so our first game, with our first official 2 teams takes place. Sisters of No Mercy VS Leave It To Cleavers.

October 2006 – Our second two teams host their first official game at the Olympic Oval. Death Dealers VS Bomber Babes.

Winter 2006 – SCDG takes on their first off season. Recruiting and gearing up for 2007.

January 2007 – SCDG starts their on season by aggressive training, recruiting, media promotions and creating their 5th team, the all star team known as the Salt City Shakers.

May 2007 – SCDG plays their very first inter-league bout, against Colorado's Rocky Mountain Roller Girls in Colorado.

May 2007 – The following week, SCDG hosts their very first game for their first official full season at the Olympic Oval. Death Dealers VS Leave It To Cleavers.

May 2007- September 2007 – SCDG hosts one game a month between their 4 teams to determine season champions by the September game. During the summer, Idaho's Treasure Valley Roller Girls and Colorado Springs' Pikes Peak Derby Dames come to Salt Lake to face off with The Salt City Shakers.

August 2007 – SCDG Celebrates their 2nd birthday.

Winter 2007 – SCDG takes a break to recruit and reorganize and prepare for their second full season in 2008. The Bomber Babes win the 2007 Championship Game

2008 - SCDG takes on its second full season at the Olympic Oval, however change venues due to scheduling conflicts and close their season at the Utah Salt Palace. The Bomber Babes face the Leave It To Cleavers for the Championship title, where the Leave It To Cleavers skate away in victory.

2009- SCDG takes on its third full season at its new venue the Salt Palace. Playing several games, including interleague games against Los Angeles, Denver, and Reno. In the end, all 4 teams battled it out for a chance at the championship leaving two teams in the end: The Sisters of No Mercy vs The 2008 Champs, the Leave it To Cleavers. In the end the Cleavers pulled ahead and beat the Sisters, leaving them to defend their title for another season.
